I'm a fairly experienced wargamer from the Netherlands. I dabble in a bit of (card/tabletop) game design as well.
Started off with the usual GW products (LotR SBG, 40k, bit of WH Fantasy) before heading over to Warmachine/Hordes.
Over the last few years I've shifted my focus more towards historicals, with some sci-fi (currently Battletech and Dropzone/Dropfleet Commander) on the side.
I've tried a whole bunch of those, mostly ground and air combat games.
My main games at the moment are Flames of War and Dropzone Commander, but I discovered Axis and Allies Naval Miniatures a while ago and it kickstarted my interest in WW2 naval wargaming.
After buying all remaining stock my FLGS could get its hands on, I decided to purchase some models via Shapeways as well.
Rolled into this project and have done some playtesting and rules editing so far.
I'm also busy considering my next naval project now that I've got both sides of the first battle of the Java Sea fully painted in 1/1800 scale.
