Hello, new here

Hi. I'm new here, but not new to (naval) wargaming. Seeing some reports by Marquod made me check out these rules, and I like what I see so far. I've yet to play my first game though, but I hope that will happen sometime soon.

In the meantime, I've dusted off and prepared my old 1:3000 Navwar/Davco models of the 'Marine Nationale'. I've had these for a long time, maybe 30 years or so, and it's time they saw some action again. Good to see the various lists for these, although with the French Navy a lot of engagements are limited to what-ifs. But it's always nice when you see an OOB for a game and you already have pretty much everything that's listed. At the moment I have 2 new battleships, 2 old battleships, 2 new battleships/battlecruisers, 1 carrier, 5 heavy cruisers, 8 light cruisers, 20 large destroyers ('contre-torpilleurs'), 20 other destroyers, 6 torpedo boats and 10 submarines. Should be enough for a start.

Welcome to the community Alex, thats a really impressive Marine Nationale. I don't think many people can match that fleet.

Good to see another fan of the French! When you do break your collection out, you should post some pics in the gallery, it's bound to be an impressive sight!
