Hello all, I'm a gamer from the Southeastern US. I got my start in tabletop gaming with AD&D back when I was in highschool, and it kind of progressed from there. At the same time I had been playing things like Mechwarrior and Mechcommander on PC, so when I was introduced to Battletech I was already pretty well hooked. I've played some other tabletops like Warmachine/Hordes and the like too. My first game that I would actually consider a naval game was Mongoose's Babylon 5: A Call to Arms, which pretty naturally led into Victory at Sea. The (at the time) affordability and availability of Axis and Allies: War at Sea stuff pretty well locked me into 1/1800, and I wound up with a bunch of Regia Marina stuff in several of my early lots. I've got a soft spot for underdogs or sides/factions that don't get as much attention, so they were a natural choice. Since, I've come to really appreciate a lot of the other nations that don't receive a whole lot of screen time as well. I'm very excited for the future of this game.
