Hi there,

another noob here. While I have some experience with naval gaming I am eagerly reading the rules and I am intrigued, how well they are done, both the professionel layout and the mechanics alike.

I have played Grand Fleets 3 for bigger scenarios and Seekrieg 4 for the crunch before and will see, whether Naval War will fit somewhere between them, since I considere both as cornerstones of the rules landscape. That is to say in regards to Seekrieg5, which I haven't played yet, because of the lack of players in my area. ;-)

Hello dTerm, and welcome to the forum!

Thank you for the compliments and I hope that you will find a place for Naval War in your rules lineup. Please share your experiences once you have played a few games!

Have you any plans extending the rules to WW1?

Alas, my knowledge and models cover mainly WW2. Converting the game to WW1 could be possible, but an enormous amount of work has to be done to make command stations, datacards etc. So no, I don't think it is within my possibilities to extend the rules to WW1. I'm sorry.
